We appreciate and recognise the valuable service and contribution of individuals within the Club through awards and life membership. Nominations for these awards are welcomed by the Executive from any member of the Club and are presented at the conclusion of the netball season.
For members that have been with the Club for 10 years or more.
Any senior player, registered non player and/or executive committee member can be nominated for this award.
The Junior All Star of the Year Award is someone who demonstrates exceptional talent and dedication, whether it be playing, umpiring or coaching. It may be a player who has tremendously improved or made a representative team, or an all rounder who played and umpired.
Any intermediate, junior or NetSetGo player can be nominated for this award.
Robyn Webster was a valued member of the club, not necessarily one who played netball herself but volunteered and supported the club wherever she could. Robyn tragically died in the Bali Bombings of 2002, and this trophy honours her memory.
This Award in is memory of Jennie Blackmore who was a loyal and hardworking coach for our Club over many years. Jennie also held various executive positions, including Coaching Co-ordinator. Jennie was a passionate coach and mentor, heavily invested in the development of all players regardless of skill.
A nominee for this award would have coached the current season and embodied the traits of Jenny in their passion, dedication, and bringing out the best in all players. Executive committee members are eligible for this award.
This award is presented annually by Jennie’s two children, Hayden Blackmore – a dedicated umpire and Aimee Blackmore, coach and player.
