There are many opportunities to start and grow as an umpire in netball. With clear pathways and strong support structures, you can develop your skills and advance through the umpiring ranks.
Netball Australia has established a structured Umpire Accreditation Pathway for umpires at all levels:
Umpires are required to complete a series of tasks every four years to maintain their accreditation and continue developing their skills. Netball Australia strongly encourages all umpires to regularly update their knowledge, skills, and competencies.
Badged umpires must complete an update notification form and submit it to the Umpires Convenor at Randwick Netball Association.
